27/06/2019· Fecon is going to bring me a skid steer head to demo. I was planning to go with FAE but was using carbide teeth and recently had someone tell me that since we do not have rock where I live, that I would be better off running knives. 23/05/2012· I think I've narrowed it down to Bradco vs FAE or CAT HM 315 mulcher. Would still like to try a fecon but don't have a dealer in the area and that's important to me. Anyone have experience with Bradco? I demo'd one a few years back but my machine was having issues with the hydraulics and it didn't show well. I have run a Cat HM 312 for 7 years. It doesn' have the variable displacement motor.
26/08/2014· He talked about how much better the 500HF left the mulch. That it was much smaller, like wood chips or shavings, as compared to the Bull Hog which left larger pieces and strips of wood behind. He mentioned that the Gyro-Trac head had a quicker recover time due to a special type of hydraulic motor that the Fecon head doesn't use.

10/11/2010· just wondering what you guys are thinking the best mulcher is for a high flow skidsteer, leaning towards fecon but how about timberax, bradco, baumolight, fae, brown bear. also one guy said a davco brush cutter is the best way to go but i kind of want to get down to the ground and not leave little stumps sticking up. i know a dedicated unit is the way to go for everday use,but this will be for
22/12/2011· 2005 I bought a 2003 (I think) Fecon 90, with a Fecon mulching head $79,000. It had like 100hrs on a new (3rd) Duetz engine. I should have been cautious then, but I wasnt. The machine was a great machine for forestry type work, but the Duetz engine was crap. Fecon stopped putting the Duetz engines in that machine and the newer machines were sent back to the factory and had another type

16/08/2015· Additionally, especially in Colorado, the Fecon Bull Hog head is by fay the most durable mulcher of any maker. Fecon makes the ASV head, the Bobcat head, and the John Deere head, but only the red Fecon "Bull Hog" has the unmatched durability to stand up better than any other design. Also because you can choose from 4 different tooling options (double carbide, single carbide, stone
16/06/2015· We had a Gyro Trac GT 25 for several years, which is basically the same head design as the cimaf. We now have Fecon heads on CTL's and occasionally run Samurai teeth. Trying to take into account the HP difference, I estimate that the two teeth would perform very similar on the same machine. The fecon teeth are reversible. The cimaf teeth are

Some bearings require daily lubrication while others require less frequent (weekly or monthly) greasing. If, according to the manufacturer, the bearing calls for a shot of grease a day, then give it a shot — giving it two

13/10/2009· I wanted a cutter head and not mulcher head. After a long one side conversation he finally said well maybe I should ask how much you will use it like this as I stood there in dress shirt and tie. Make long story short I put a flail mower on a Volvo EC 45 which is a 5 ton machine and have run it about 4 hours in summer weather. If it was any hotter than digging with it could not tell it. The
